When did you start your business?
While I have been practicing mental gymnastics with the concept for quite a while, Women's Ally was incorporated in January 2010.
Your Business Structure
After researching all the different structures available, I chose S-Corporation. While each structure has advantages and disadvantages, it seemed to best match my needs.
Your Start-Up Story - Why You Started Your Business
Recognizing the need for a new and different approach to career management, WomensAlly.com was created as a solution for both individuals and companies. The epiphany occurred when I returned from a conference and quickly found that the "conference euphoria" decreased rapidly once I was back in my native corporate environment. I was fortunate to benefit from external expert guidance as only the highest potential employees receive, but realized the majority of my team members weren’t so fortunate. Soon thereafter, the idea for Women’s Ally was hatched, making expert access available to the masses.
