During a phone interview on the January 21, 2011 edition of Fox & Friends, Bill O'Reilly claimed that increased criticism of certain conservative women was due to something he described as the "good-looking factor" and stated that "the better looking these women are like Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin, the more the left attacks them."
While Fox Network program hosts often make racist, ageist, and sexist remarks, Fox is not the only culprit. Here are public personalities who have made sexist remarks about women.
"Men are very competent in their workplace - and this is going to sound sexist - women are better at running households and juggling lots of things, kids and scheduling and that kind of thing."
Second, separate sexist comment made by Heaton, "But I think boys ultimately are easier than girls."
From the January 25 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:
BRIAN KILMEADE (co-host): Judge, I want to find out what's on your show tonight.
NAPOLITANO: Kristi Noem. That hot, new freshman member of Congress is going to be on to tell us why the president's State of the Union is just a pep rally.
KILMEADE: And Judge, when you say "hot," you mean exciting, intellectual lawmaker.
NAPOLITANO: And a good looker, too.
NAPOLITANO: You want to come on set, Kilmeade?
KILMEADE: I'm thinking about it.
"Did you hear the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly, and left to die? When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, 'Where is that marvelous ape?'"
8. Gordon Liddy
"Let's hope that the key conferences aren't when she's menstruating or something, or just before she's going to menstruate. That would really be bad. Lord knows what we would get then." ~ Gordon Liddy about Sonia Sotomayor
"I think she's hot .... She's tiny, she's short. She's got a banging little body on her. Facial-wise, I give her about a seven. Body-wise, I give her about an eight-and-a-half. Tight, little butt. I endorse Karyn Polito."
