Western Carolina University Ranks 4th in Top 10 Schools for Women to Earn an MBA

Princeton Review Gives WCU Top Grades for Helping Women Earn MBAs

By , About.com Guide

An October 8, 2008 article in North Carolina's Citizens-Times.com by Dale Neal, reported that Western Carolina University's College of Business has been ranked #4 in the top ten schools in the U.S by the Princeton Review for women to earn a master's degree in business administration.

The school received high marks for small class sizes, and according to Neal, "Western's fourth-place ranking among the schools offering the greatest opportunities for women is based on the percentage of students who are female (51 percent); the percentage of faculty who are female (31 percent); and student assessment of resources for female students, how supportive the culture is of female students, whether the business school offers course work for women entrepreneurs, and whether case study materials for classes proportionately reflect women in business."
