Jewelry For The Workplace

Jewelry is Wearable Art, Keep it Tasteful and Conservative

Jewelry should complete a look - not compete with it.
You can never go wrong wearing simple earrings to work, like these classic pearl studs.

Does Your Jewelry Speak For You?

If your jewelry makes noise when you move it is not appropriate for the workplace. Wearing too many bracelets or a necklace that jingles or clinks when you move is distracting and inappropriate for the office.

Jewelry should be tasteful and conservative. It should compliment your outfit, not compete with it. Long, dangling earrings and oversized hoops are great for casual wear and fun outings, but they do not say "I am a serious business woman." Keep earrings simple, elegant, and the dangle below one inch in length.

Do wear an elegant watch on your wrist; don't wear one around your neck or as a ring.

Do not wear more than one ring set on each hand (and engagement and wedding ring is accetable.) Wearing rings on more than one finger on a hand is overkill and not the right look for the professional workplace environment.
