Always Be Prepared With The Right Business Accessories
Always carry the following accessories to business meetings and whenever you are meeting with a client off-site:
- Black pen and a #2 pencil,
- Calculator (if your cell phone or other portable device does not have one),
- Fully charged cell phone,
- Business cards and promotional literature,
- A portfolio or a brief case (be sure to tuck in a legal pad for note taking), and
- Small package of tissues.
Carry The Right Brief Case or Portfolio
Any time you go off-site for a meeting you should always carry a brief case or at the lease, a portfolio pad.
Portable business accessories should be tasteful and conservative. Do not use cloth bags, backpacks, or totes to carry your business items. A leather portfolio or brief case is the safest choice - but stay away from trendy colors and wild patterns.
Be sure to replace accessories that are torn, worn out, or stained.
