I love Benita Tyler. She speaks taxes, fiscal, and accounting in plain English for those of us who are not CPAs. This morning's tip sent from her Facebook page was offered in her usual friendly, down-to-earth prose:
"Good morning friends. For those who may not have seen this announcement, the IRS will start processing individual tax returns on January 30. If your return includes residential energy, property depreciation, or credits for your business, be prepared for an additional filing delay -- possibly the end of February or beginning of March."
