According to a 2011 American Express OPEN government contracting survey, small businesses spent an average of $103,827 in time and resources, up 21 percent from 2010. Despite the increase in investment by small firms, federal contracting spending is flat from 2010. As this trend continues, small businesses need to come up with more ways to make each bid count and to win contracts.

This educational webinar is part of the Give Me 5 program, a national program created by American Express OPEN and WIPP to help women business owners get a leg up on selling to the world's largest customer: the U.S. government.
