G. Gordon Liddy made inexcusable remarks on nationwide radio about Judge Sonia Sotomayor insinuating a women's menstrual cycle affects her judgment. Specifically, Liddy stated: "Let's hope that the key conferences aren't when she's menstruating or something, or just before she's going to menstruate. That would really be bad. Lord knows what we would get then."
The shameful comments were syndicated by Radio America on May 28, 2009 prompting outrage by the National Organization of Women.
